Getting real sick of these mistakes
Yeah sure right, fixing things that weren't broken when you fixed another thing is a part of coding in movies but I seriously didn't think it would apply here. The issue was that I named the variable for the decree panel "sidebar" and like an idiot, named the variable for the upgrade panel "sidebar" so everything got twisted up in new and exciting ways that I did NOT plan for or authorize. Oh, and I had the layers in the wrong positions after adding a scroll to the credits, so that got cleaned up too
The next dumb shit issue is going to be something like the sunscreen reserve freezes or something else that's in a completely different part of the code I didn't touch but won't work after changing something 500 lines away because clearly I am beloved by chaos
So anyway. It should be playable at the very least now, for everyone that was looking for all the ways it wasn't. I am in NO WAY bitter for all the comments I got as to why the game didn't work. I love those. I learn from those. I'm frustrated that they're all very rookie mistakes, because for whatever reason I'm convinced that even though this is my first anything, I should be perfect better than rookie mistakes.
